NOVEMBER SERMON SERIES : THE GIFT OF PROMISE
What is faith? It is much more than "a gut" feeling, a wishful hoping that things will turn out okay, or a religious exercise of spiritual practices (like attending church). True faith is often an unexplainable peace and unshakeable confidence that God is in control no matter the circumstances of life. Hebrews 11:1 tells us, "Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see."
Our November series, THE GIFT OF PROMISE, will be on the Life of Abraham (who the Bible describes as the father of faith) to better understand what walking in and sharing the promises of God looks like. Through studying Abraham's journey to a new land to a promise of a child to all the God encounters and blessings he experienced along the way, our hearts will be encouraged, our faith will be strengthened, and our hope will be restored.
