Join us for an unforgettable pilgrimage as we visit many of the sites on Paul’s missionary journeys.
Preliminary Itinerary (2 nights Athens, 7 nights Celestyal cruise, 3 nights Rome)
Wednesday, June 19: depart LAX and other airports for Athens, Greece.
Thursday, June 20: arrive Athens, transfer to 5-star hotel. Dinner and breakfast included in Athens, all meals on cruise, breakfast daily and one dinner included in Rome.
Friday, June 21: to ancient Corinth the once glorious city near the Isthmus separating mainland Greece from the southern Peloponnese, where Paul met Aquilla and Priscilla.
Saturday, June 22: check out of hotel for Athens city tour, including where the Olympics began & ascending the Acropolis to marvel at the Parthenon. In the afternoon, transfer to the Athens Port of Piraeus to board the newly-refurbished Celestyal cruise line ship Journey.
Sunday, June 23: Thessaloniki- travel to Philippi, 8-hour tour to include traditional site where Lydia was baptized, ruins of ancient Philippi, site that remembers the cell where Paul & Silas were imprisoned.
Monday, June 24: Guided walking tour of biblical Ephesus. (See photo above)
Tuesday, June 25: Crete, we will discuss Paul’s visits & the role of Titus.
Wednesday, June 26: Santorini- breathtaking, free time. Optional walking tour.
Thursday, June 27: Mykonos – more lovely, relaxing, free time. Optional walking tour.
Friday, June 28: Milos, where Venus de Milo was discovered.
Saturday, June 29: disembark at Athens, and head to airport. Depart to Rome.
Sunday, June 30: tour Rome including St. Paul’s Church Outside the Walls, Walk on the Appian Way, Colosseum, Forum
Monday, July 1: tour of the Vatican Museums, Sistine chapel, and St. Peter’s Basilica. Stop at Trevi fountain
Tuesday, July 2: to Rome Fiumicino airport to fly home
